Networking Events announced

Phew! Finally some good news on the networking front... we are delighted to be hosting a series of events across 2010 covering a whole range of creative sector topics. The launch event is on March 4th at 6.30pm at the Digital Media Centre Barnsley. The evening will be a fun and relaxed intro to the network, with presentations from a range of creative gurus and hopefully YOU! Yes, that's right ... we are inviting submissions for presentations. The format must be 20 slides and you can only show each slide for 20 seconds so we're keeping it short and snappy! Submit your presentation to info@creativebarnsley.co.uk by Friday 26th February and the selected presenters will be notified on Saturday February 27th.

We will also be using the series of events to try and get more information about the local creative sector. This will allow us to map who does what, and work out what's really going on out there. No mean feat!

Getting things refreshed!

Well it's probably quite obvious that things are a tad out of date on the CB website currently. We are building a new site that will allow us to be more on the ball and keep content new and fresh ... and useful!
